SACRAMENTO, Calif., Aug. 19, 2025—Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. and LiCAP Technologies, Inc. have announced a strategic partnership to accelerate the development of dry cathode electrode processes for all-solid-state batteries.
The collaboration builds on prior research and will leverage LiCAP’s Activated Dry Electrode® technology, a solvent-free method that improves efficiency, cost, and sustainability.
“This alliance strengthens our shared goal of advancing clean, next-generation EV batteries,” said Dr. Linda Zhong, CEO of LiCAP Technologies.
The initiative aligns with Nissan’s Ambition 2030 vision for sustainable mobility.
