Google’s New AI: From Research Paper to Presentation in Clicks

by admin477351

Google is continuing its push to make AI a central part of its productivity suite. The company has introduced a new Gemini Canvas feature that can automatically turn any document, including a long research paper or business report, into a complete Google Slides presentation.

This new tool is designed to save hours of work. The AI reads and analyzes your text, then intelligently builds a structured, themed slide deck. It generates all the necessary titles, adds section breaks for clarity, and even inserts relevant visuals to support your points.

This marks a significant step for Google’s AI strategy. It moves Gemini from a behind-the-scenes writing assistant to a proactive productivity partner, capable of handling complex, multi-step tasks like presentation design.

Once generated, the slide deck is fully editable. Users can export the presentation directly into Google Slides for any final adjustments, customization, or team collaboration, blending AI efficiency with human refinement.

The feature is already rolling out globally to all Google users, including personal accounts and Workspace customers. It appears to be reaching Gemini Advanced (Pro) subscribers first, with a general release for all users expected to follow shortly.
